* Kangaroo hide is reported to possess 7 times the strength of cow hide. The reason for this is the cells lay parallel to each other rather than having been placed at random as in cow hide. While strength of leather is less important in toy breeds; one thing is for sure, kangaroo hide produces a very soft and supple leash that is buttery feeling once broken in.
